You don’t need to fix everything.

Swipe to discover simple ways to be there for someone who needs you

You Don’t Have to Have All the Answers 💛

When someone is struggling with their mental health, you may not know what to say or do.

That’s okay. You don’t have to fix them. You just have to show up.

Listen. Don’t Try to Fix. 👂

Sometimes, people need to be heard—not advised.

  • Listen without interrupting
    • Avoid rushing to solutions
    • Say: “I’m here. I’m listening.”
    • Say: “That sounds really hard.”

Your presence can be powerful.

 Gently Encourage Help 🤝

If they’re struggling, remind them that asking for help is a strength—not a weakness.

Encourage professional support and, if they’re comfortable, help them take that first step.

You can walk beside them without walking their journey for them.

Be There in Small Ways 💙

Support doesn’t always need big gestures.

Check in. Sit with them. Help with an appointment. Send a message.

Small, consistent acts of care can remind someone:

“You’re not alone.”

 Respect. Don’t Pressure. 🔒

Let them open up at their own pace.

  • Respect their boundaries
    • Don’t force conversations
    • Protect their privacy
    • Be patient with their ups and downs

Healing isn’t linear. Your patience matters.

 Learn. Listen. Be Present. 🌱

You don’t need to be an expert to make a difference.

Learn more. Challenge assumptions. Lead with empathy.

And remember:

You don’t have to fix everything.
Sometimes, simply being there can mean everything.
