The Department of Oncology at Annai Arul Hospital bridges the worlds of basic science, clinical diagnosis and the treatment of cancer. Our clinical science covers each cancer type; has a strong focus in clinical trials of new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, and in correlative laboratory studies. Facilities are available to undertake outpatient chemotherapies in a specialised day care unit. Specialised methods of administering chemotherapy include the use of indwelling catheters and chemo ports.
