The critical care facility is located closer to operation theaters and secluded enough to provide privacy and serene environment to the patients.
Critical Care Unit is a life saving facility for many seriously ill patients.
- Seriously ill patients require close observation and monitoring. Specially trained nurses care for a couple of patients at a time, with specially trained critical care doctors on duty round the clock.
- Critical Care facility takes care of unique situation and condition of the patients. The facility has special machines to monitor the patient’s heart, blood pressure, and respiratory rate. There are also ventilators to assist very weak and risky patients with breathing until they are able to breathe on their own.
- Patients may have an imbalance in the level of chemicals, salts, or minerals in their bloodstream which after careful diagnosis is monitored and corrected in the Critical Cae Unit. Also, patients may have a serious infection in their bodies that require speciality care which is provided here.
