On 10th Jan 2019 Annai Arul Hospital conducted a CME on Fluid Therapy . Dr. Mohammed Ishaq MD., FNB from Lyell McEwin Hospital, Adelaide (Australia) presented the topic of “Physiology and rationale of fluid loading in ICU setting” followed by a healthy discussion about the fluid therapy. Dr. Venkatesh MD.,DNB, Consultant Nephrologist at Annai Arul Hopsital presented about the “Therapeutic Considerations in Volume management in chronic sub normal GFR states” .Practitioners and consultants participated in the programme.

Annai Arul Hospital celebrated Christmas from 19th Dec to 22nd Dec 2018. A Week of celebration was started with the spot games for all the employees. Employees enjoyed the Christmas season with the fun activities where gifts were given to the prize winners ( employees and patient attenders ). It was a joyful season of celebration with carols and Santa Clause.

Observing World Hepatitis Day Annai Arul Hospital organized a street play about alcohol addiction and how it’s harmful to human health. The street play was conducted on 14^th of July and 21^st of July 2018. The concept was to create an awareness about the symptoms and prevention of hepatitis. The event was performed by a team of professional street play artists from the team MUTE and they emphasized a lot on alcohol addiction and its effects on human liver. The play was organized in various places such as East and west tambaram, Medavakkam bus stand, Mahalakshmi Nagar park and Gandhi nagar.

Dr.Joseph Jensingh Babu MD.,DNB, Medical Director of Annai Arul Hospital provided a medical talk and consultation for all the newly promoted Assistant Commissioners of Police and Inspectors of police in Tamil Nadu Police Academy on 13^th of July 2018,during a training session. Focusing to create health awareness, medical queries from the Tamil Nadu Police officials were clarified by Dr. Joseph.

On 12th May 2018, International Nurses Day was celebrated at Annai Arul Hospital along with the hospital Medical Director Dr. S. Joseph Jensingh Babu, consultants and all other employees. The celebration was colourful with loads of fun entertained with music and dance followed by cake cutting. Nurses recited the pledge to be devoted to service and to the high ideals of the nursing profession.
